Organize Ports¶

Overview¶

The Organize Ports command in JITX arranges connected symbols at a fixed distance from the selected symbol, helping to maintain a clean and organized schematic layout.

Applicable Elements¶

Symbols: This command only works on symbols. It organizes symbols connected to the selected symbol, ensuring they are positioned at a consistent distance.

Restrictions¶

Connection Limit: The command pulls in connected symbols that have at most two connections.

UI Interaction¶

Select a Symbol: Click on the symbol you want to organize around.
Activate the Command: Press g to organize the connected ports.
Automatic Arrangement: Connected symbols will be repositioned a fixed distance from the selected symbol.
