Group Merge

The Group Merge feature in JITX allows you to combine two or more schematic groups into a new or existing parent group. You can merge groups using a keyboard shortcut or by dragging.

Group Merge with Hotkey

Quickly merge multiple groups into a new or existing parent group using a keyboard shortcut.

Steps:

1. Select Elements: Select two or more groups.
2. Merge: Press q.

Group Merge with Drag

You can also merge groups by dragging them into a parent group with a common prefix in its name.

Steps:

1. Select two or more groups.
2. Start dragging them. Groups with blue borders are valid parent candidates.
3. When you hover over a valid parent candidate, it expands to accommodate the selected groups.
4. Release the mouse to complete the merge.
