Organize Ports#

Overview#

The Organize Ports command in JITX arranges connected symbols at a fixed distance from the selected symbol, helping to maintain a clean and organized schematic layout.

Applicable Elements#

  • Symbols: This command only works on symbols. It organizes symbols connected to the selected symbol, ensuring they are positioned at a consistent distance.

Restrictions#

  • Connection Limit: The command pulls in connected symbols that have at most two connections.

UI Interaction#

  1. Select a Symbol: Click on the symbol you want to organize around.

  2. Activate the Command: Press G to organize the connected ports.

  3. Automatic Arrangement: Connected symbols will be repositioned a fixed distance from the selected symbol.
